Organic Growing Education for Idaho Farmers
The potato growers of Idaho and surrounding communities were given the opportunity for a great educational opportunity by the University of Idaho in Boise Idaho. There are now over 95,000 acres of organic potato growing in the state currently and they hope to add more by teaching the farmers how to become organic certified with hands on classes that were attended by over 50 people in March.
